About Gympie – Gympie is located on the south-east of Queensland, it is known for its historical gold mining heritage and it’s best of both world location with rolling hinterland and coastal landscapes.

Gympie has a vast variety of produce across the region. The hinterland provides seasonal fruit and vegetables with small crop growers supplying fresh produce to local markets and the Great Sandy Straights providing fresh seafood from Tin Can Bay and Cooloola Cove trawlers.

Gympie hosts a range of annual entertainment events including the Gympie Muster, Gympie Gold Rush Festival, The Gympie Show, The Heart of Gold Film Festival and more. Gympie has numerous tourist attractions with National Parks located in the outer-lying regions of Amamoor, Kandanga, Kilkivan and Goomeri.
